Are you eligible?

Both CDCTA Members and Non-Members may apply for this special award at individual CDCTA recognized shows. Only horses that have been foaled in Virginia are eligible to qualify for VA Bred awards. Owners should submit proof of eligibility along with a completed Special Awards Entry (SAEntryForm.pdf) form, with each show registration form.  Proof of eligibility for VA Bred awards may be confirmed by a copy of breed registry papers indicating place of foaling or a confirming statement (VABredCert.pdf) or birth record from a licensed veterinarian with knowledge of the place of birth.  Awards are given to horse owners.

Only CDCTA Members may qualify for Year End VA Bred awards.  Cash awards will be determined by the amount remaining in the grant at the end of the year.  Horse owners must be members at the time of competition for scores to be included, however, volunteer hours required to be considered for Year End awards can be fulfilled by owner or rider.  To be considered for this special Year End award, please submit proof of eligibility as indicated above, postmarked by December 5, 2017 to:
